Survival

This rugged aloe is made from stoneware ceramic fired with oxides with no glaze and mounted on a reclaimed teak base. It was created as part of an exhibition in 2017 that looked at fire and the resilience of our South African flora. this piece is currently part of the Lull exhibition at the White River Gallery.
